Retention Rates & Action Plans

The college has set an internal benchmark of 70% retention for all classes.  Instructional Departments, then, should incorporate best practices and the highest level of teaching, advising and retention strategies to ultimately improve student retention within all academic settings.  A benchmark is designed to set in place an aim for successfully retaining students within Lawson's instructional programs and serves as a parameter in which the College and Departments can use to pinpoint where targeted improvement is needed within departments.
